NETA EXHIBETED AT THE 2009 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF DOBLE CLIENTS IN BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTES BOSTON, MA

The InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) and several of its NETA Accredited Companies participated in the 2009 International Conference of Doble Clients in Boston, Massachusetts, March 29 – April 3. Sponsored by Doble Engineering, the Doble Conference (a Doble Users Group Meeting) is developed by and for electric utility and testing companies by nine diverse Client Committees. At the conference, Jim White, training director for Shermco Industries, a NETA Accredited Company, gave several technical presentations and tutorials, including a paper titled ‘AMM-3 An Update to the NFPA 70E Guidelines for Electrical Safety,’ and a training course on DC Testing of Transformers – Insulating and Winding Resistance and Testing of Core Ground. At the trade show, NETA educated Doble attendees on the importance of third-party testing, NETA specifications and certifications, services offered by its third-party NETA Accredited Companies, and its annual PowerTest Electrical Maintenance and Safety Conference.
