INTERNATIONAL ELECTRICAL TESTING ASSOCIATION TO EXHIBIT AT THE IEEE IAS ELECTRICAL SAFETY WORKSHOP IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
The InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) and several of its NETA Accredited Companies will participate in the IEEE IAS Electrical Safety Workshop and Exposition as an exhibitor at Booth #55 in St. Louis, Missouri, February 2-6, 2009.Sponsored by the Industry Applications Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc., the IEEE IAS Electrical Safety Workshop is a transnational technical forum organized to provide information and knowledge impacting electrical safety. Ron Widup of Shermco Industries and Kerry Heid of Magna Electric Corporation (both NETA Accredited Companies) will be giving a technical presentation on electrical maintenance, titled “Field Measured Total Clearing Time of Protective Devices and Its Effect on Electrical Hazards.” NETA will educate IEEE ESW tradeshow attendees about NETA specifications and certifications, the importance of third-party testing, services offered by its third-party NETA Accredited Companies, and its annual PowerTest Electrical Maintenance and Safety Conference being held March 9-10, 2009, at the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio, Texas. PowerTest 2009 will feature a variety of technical activities, including paper tracks, interactive panel sessions and symposium, a new product forum, trade show, networking opportunities, and post-conference seminars on March 11 and 12.
