Standard for Acceptance Testing Specifications for Electrical Power Equipment and Systems

Scope
It is the purpose of these specifications to assure that tested electrical equipment and systems are operational, are within applicable standards and manufacturer's tolerances, and are installed in accordance with design specifications. These specifications cover the suggested field tests and inspections that are available to assess the suitability for initial energization and final acceptance of electrical power equipment and systems.

Description
The Standard for Acceptance Testing Specifications for Electrical Power Equipment and Systems was developed for use by those responsible for assessing the suitability for initial energization of electrical power equipment and systems and to specify field tests and inspections that ensure these systems and apparatus perform satisfactorily, minimizing downtime and maximizing life expectancy. On February 2, 2017, the American National Standards Institute approved the Standard for Acceptance Testing Specifications for Electrical Power Equipment and Systems as an American National Standard.

Errata

This section contains links to errata issued by the NETA Standards Review Council with regard to the ANSI/NETA standards. 

NETA errata sheets may contain minor corrections noted by the NETA Standards Review Council following the approval and publication of an ANSI/NETA Standard. Errata sheets serve to notify end users of these corrections so the amended language can be taken into consideration when referencing the standards. It is the intent of the NETA Standards Review Council to hold these errata for review and consideration by the consensus body during the next regularly scheduled revision of the standard. PDF copies of the standards contain errata sheets directly following the title pages with bookmarks to the affected sections of the standard. Hard copies are issued with a printed errata sheet inserted directly behind the cover of the document.
