NETA is an association of leading electrical testing companies comprised of visionaries who are committed to advancing the industry's standards for power system installation and maintenance to ensure the highest level of reliability and safety.

Verification of NETA Accreditation
Please be aware that the verification of NETA Accredited Companies may be executed using a variety of methods.

  1. Contact the NETA Office and request direct verification of credentials for a specific company and its technicians.
  2. Request a current copy of the NETA Accredited Company Certificate from the firm representing themselves as NETA Accredited.
  3. Request current NETA Technician Card for all Certified Level II, Level III, and Level IV NETA Technicians from the firm employing the technicians.
  4. Visit the NETA website at www.netaworld.org to search the database for a NETA Accredited Company.This is a good preliminary tool, but NETA always recommends contacting the NETA office for final verification.

NETA Accredited Company (NAC) membership is tailored for third-party, independent firms involved in full-service testing, analysis, and maintenance of electrical power systems. This includes low-, medium-, and high-voltage distribution, substation, and generation equipment.

NETA Accredited Companies best support the interest of the owner, as the objectivity and competency of the testing firm is as important as the competency of the individual technician. NETA Companies are part of an independent, third-party electrical testing association dedicated to setting world standards in electrical maintenance and acceptance testing. (more...)
