ANSI/NETA ETT-2010 Now Available

Portage, MI, March 22, 2010 - The ANSI/NETA ETT-2010 Standard for Certification of Electrical Testing Technicians is now available for purchase.  Originally published in 2000 by the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), this standard was created to codify the experience, education, and training requirements necessary for an individual to obtain a level of competency as an electrical test technician.

In addition to specifying an individual's requirements, the ANSI/NETA ETT-2010 also provides criteria for documenting qualifications and certification, and details the minimum qualifications for an independent and impartial certifying body to certify electrical testing technicians.

A single source for all of these requirements, the ANSI/NETA ETT-2010 is ideal as a reference in bid specifications to ensure that the individuals performing the acceptance and maintenance testing are qualified to do so in a safe manner with complete knowledge of the hazards involved.  As such, the ANSI/NETA ETT has become an invaluable tool for specifying engineers, electrical inspectors, and end users alike.
