Arc Flash Mitigation

This presentation will look at existing electrical power systems and review strategies for arc-flash mitigation. Discussion details will include the role of arc-flash studies and upgrade strategies involving relays, trip units, and other equipment. The presenter will also provide examples of AF reduction from old relays to new relays and specifics on upgrading basis points (BPS) to breakers.
