NETA CERTIFICATION EXAM REMINDERS

TAKING ADDITIONAL EXAMS

If a technician receives a passing score on an exam, they are eligible to sit for the next level exam. First, they should reach out to their Accredited Representative or Branch Manager, who can send a new VOE to the NETA office authorizing them for the next exam level. A new Authorization to Test email will come to their inbox soon after, clearing them to schedule their next exam appointment.

60-DAY WAITING PERIOD

If a technician does not pass their exam, they must wait for 60 days before they can be authorized to retake their exam. When technicians are interested in retesting, they must communicate directly with their Accredited Representative or Branch Manager. The Member Services Team will consistently be monitoring exam results, so once interest has been conveyed, they will be able to let the Accredited Representative or Branch Manager know when their technician is eligible to test again.
